Floatation’s and Services

There are many reasons that directors and shareholders of private companies seek a listing on a public market and these include the need for:

  • Raising cash for growth

  • Introducing institutional shareholders

  • Bringing stricter corporate governance into Board practice

  • Allowing a retiring or leaving director to depart without the need to sell the whole business

  • Providing greater credibility to growing companies

  • Providing awareness to the public, industry and investment institutions

  • The opportunity to provide Incentives to staff members.

For very large companies there is the Main London Stock Exchange, which provides a home for the 100 largest quoted companies known as the FTSE 100.

Whilst Griffin Corporate Finance can provide introductions to the main market it specialises in the needs of smaller companies and target stock markets and advisors that are experienced in and focus on the London Stock Exchange Alternative Investment Market (AIM) and the ISDX quoted stock market which is operated by the ICAP Securities and Derivatives Exchange (ISDX) which is part of the ICAP plc group.

AIM and ISDX are international markets and welcome good companies from all areas of the world. London is a major home of regulated stock markets and the UK is regarded globally as operating well regulated and transparent stock markets. London is one of the worlds leading financial centres and is the home of some of the largest investment capital pools available for growth companies.

If you are considering floatation as an option, Griffin Corporate Finance can work with you at an early stage and assist and mentor the management in achieving its goals and timetables for listing.
